AI is for Doodle Breeders

Running a business is hard. And the one thing you can’t get around is time—either your own, or paying for someone else’s. It takes time to build something real. Time to prove yourself. Time to earn trust.

What’s happening with AI image generation in the business world is that it’s now possible for anyone to create business marketing in minutes—logos, flyers, websites, social posts. With very little effort, someone can think, I want to start a business, and within the same day be posting online as if they’re established.

I actually see this quite often in the dog space, especially when it comes to new breeders looking to make a quick buck. AI image generation has made it easier than ever for trendy / designer-dog backyard breeders to look established and mislead the general public.

Not only is this a problem for the public—no one wants to get duped—but it’s also affecting legitimate breeders. The ones who’ve been around doing the hard stuff are now using the same tools too. Trainers, dog clubs, and boarding facilities are as well.

This deepens the issue even more. When both legitimate businesses and fly-by-night operations are using the same technology, the lines get blurred. What looks established is no longer a reliable indicator of what is established.

So here’s a plea to those who’ve truly earned their place. Choose smarter. Invest in professionals who help you communicate what you’ve actually built—not just generate the appearance of it.

Because in the long run, business isn’t just about how fast you can show up online. It’s about whether people trust you enough to stay, refer you, and come back again. Trust is built through consistency, clarity, and proof over time—and that’s difficult to fake. When everything starts to look the same, the businesses that take shortcuts in how they present themselves risk blending into the noise instead of standing apart from it.

Your brand and reputation isn’t just what you say it is. It’s what people believe after interacting with everything you’ve put into the world.
